1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using Deploynix:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register
  • Billing Information: Payment details are collected and processed directly by Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). We do not store your credit card or payment information.
  • Server Credentials: API keys and access tokens for third-party cloud providers you connect
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service
  • Assistant Conversations: The questions you ask the AI assistant, the answers it gives, and any feedback you leave on them

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription
  • Provision and manage servers on your behalf
  • Send important service-related communications
  • Respond to your requests and support inquiries
  • Answer your questions through the AI assistant and improve the quality of its answers
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Server credentials and sensitive data are encrypted at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Cloud Providers: To provision and manage servers as requested by you
  • Merchant of Record (Paddle.com): Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record, processing payments, taxes, and invoicing. Your billing data is subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
  • AI Provider (Google): When you use the AI assistant, your question and a limited summary of your account are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the answer, as described in the AI Assistant section below. This data is subject to the Gemini API Terms of Service.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. AI Assistant

Deploynix includes an optional AI assistant that answers questions about using the Service. Using it is your choice; the rest of the Service works without it.

  • What is sent to the AI provider: The text of your question, recent messages from the same conversation, and a summary of your account limited to your plan, your role, how many resources you use, which types of provider you have connected (for example "DigitalOcean" or "GitHub"), and how many servers and sites you have in each status.
  • What is not sent: Your name, email address, passwords, API keys and access tokens, the names you give your credentials, server names, domains, and IP addresses. Anything you type into a question is sent as written, so please do not include passwords, keys, or other secrets in your questions.
  • Training: We use Google's paid Gemini API service. Under Google's terms for that service, the content we send is not used to train or improve Google's models.
  • Who can see your conversations: Conversations are private to you and are not visible to other members of your organization. Authorized Deploynix staff may review conversations to check and improve the accuracy of the assistant.
  • Accuracy: Answers are generated automatically from our documentation and may contain mistakes. The assistant does not make decisions about your account and cannot change anything in it.
  • Deleting your conversations: You can delete your whole assistant history at any time with the "Clear history" button in the assistant.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and provide the Service. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

AI assistant conversations are deleted automatically after 180 days without activity, and are deleted with your account.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the Service.
